Festival Season 2019 Qravers On The Road

TL;DR: Qravers hit the UK festival circuit in 2019 with pop-up stalls at Gottwood, Glastonbury, and Latitude. Behind-the-scenes look at selling authentic 90s rave clothing to festival ravers across England and Wales.
Taking Qravers On The Road: Festival Season 2019
In 2019, Qravers went on the road with one mission: bring authentic London underground rave culture to UK festivals. Armed with rave tees, embroidered bomber jackets, and a pop-up stall, we hit Gottwood, Glastonbury, and Latitude.
This is the story of the weird, wonderful, and absolutely wasted people we met along the way. Lessons learned: running a festival market stall is chaos, but the ravers made it worth it.
Gottwood Festival, Wales (6-9 June 2019)
Gottwood was our first stop—a boutique electronic music festival hidden in the Welsh woods. The vibe was pure underground: techno, house, and ravers who understood the culture.
Tiny Hand Man
His actual hands were normal size, but he carried around a small plastic hand used to confuse and scare people. Peak festival energy.
Lurch
This man stood motionless outside our stall for hours. We called him Lurch. Eventually a friend lured him away with the promise of ketamine sandwiches. Festival life.
Jungle Party Vibes
Our Jungle collection was a hit. Ravers who grew up on Amen breaks and 160 BPM basslines recognised the authenticity immediately.
Sexual Harassment Panda. This guy went around the festival dressed as a panda. We don't talk about what happened next.
This guy's middle name is actually "Weird." He really was.
Glastonbury Festival, Somerset (26-30 June 2019)
Glastonbury. The big one. 200,000 ravers, mud, and the best festival atmosphere in the UK. Our stall was in the market, surrounded by vintage sellers and independent brands.
The Birthday Raver
This guy's birthday was the actual date on one of our vintage rave flyers. He lost his shit when we told him. Bought three tees on the spot.
"My cup is empty." The universal festival mood.
The Mitchell Brothers let loose. Our Acid House collection was everywhere at Glasto—smiley faces as far as the eye could see.
Bringing in the plane.
Our MA-2 bomber jackets were built for this. Water-resistant, internal pockets for valuables, and embroidered rave insignia. Festival-ready outerwear.
Getting wavy.
Tie dye twins. Festival fashion at its finest.
Latitude Festival, Suffolk (16-19 July 2019)
Latitude was a different vibe—more indie, more arts-focused, but the ravers still came out at night. Our stall attracted the underground crowd looking for authentic rave gear.
Absolute acid casualty.
Smiley face raver in full effect. Our Acid House tees were made for moments like this.
Raving for peace. The original ethos: PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect).
"The Matrix has you, Mr Anderson." Festival philosophy.
Until next year!
What We Learned: Festival Stall Survival Guide
Running a festival market stall taught us a lot about rave culture, festival fashion, and what ravers actually want:
1. Authenticity Matters
Ravers can spot fake rave gear a mile away. Our collaborations with original flyer artists like Jamcee and Junior Tomlin resonated because they're the real deal.
2. Functionality > Fashion
Festival gear needs to work. Water-resistant jackets, secure pockets, breathable fabrics. Our MA-2 bombers sold out because they're built for 8-hour warehouse sessions and muddy fields.
3. The Scene is Alive
From Gottwood's underground techno heads to Glastonbury's massive crowds, UK rave culture is thriving. The next generation gets it.
